Employee Assistant Program

The purpose for a Consortium EAP is to design and provide an EAP that a smaller employer can both afford and enhance their employee benefit packages. Through consortium membership all goals are met, namely, reasonable rates based upon volume, professional clinical services and management training services.

• 24-Hour Telephone Access, Local and Toll-Free Number
• Mental Health Therapist On-Call
• Employee Orientation Sessions
• Organizational and Supervisory Consultation
• Substance Abuse Monitoring Program
• Critical Incident Debriefings (two hours annually)
• Financial, Legal, Eldercare & Childcare Referral Services
• "Language Line" telephone interpretive service

Program Outcome

• Includes all program components found in 'broad-brush' EAP's
• Provides a network of clinicians available to your employees and their family members
• Helps in decreasing medical claims due to emotional problems
• Provides you supervisors/managers with ongoing consultation regarding assisting the troubled employee
• Provides you with an intervention tool that directs employees experiencing personal problems which measurably effect work performance
